I wrote this the week I left London to start a new life in Stockholm, Sweden.
London has been my home for the 40+ years of my life. The idea of living anywhere else is both exciting and daunting. There isn't a plan B. Whilst I've been fortunate enough to receive this opportunity, things won't go so smoothly if it doesn't work out! So, once again - as always, I suppose - I have to trust that God is in this, that He has gone before and made a way. I have to trust that He will never leave me or forsake me. I have to trust that I have His favour, and that all things will work out for good.
It's those very thoughts that inspired this song. Whilst I'm sad to leave my home, I feel this is a God given opportunity and I'm being faithful and obedient by stepping into it.
